A century ago, Lumbridge was chosen to host a high-priority meeting that included Franizzard Van Lumbcook being tasked with preparing a grand feast to celebrate the event.
Lumbridge is scheduled for another of these meetings, however, this time, the chef who was inherited from his father Franizzard is asking the player for assistance.
The players who have completed each subquest will be given the opportunity to attend The Feast (boss fight). The event will mark the 10th Lumbridge meeting in the last 100 years. The chef plans to recreate a dish prepared by one of his relatives.
The chef must collect the necessary ingredients to prepare the dish. The chef requires Rotten tomato Eye of Newt Dirty Blast along with a glass Greenman’s Ale, and Eye of Newt.
Apart from the Rotten tomato, it is available only through Pelters’ Veg Stall behind the General Store in Varrock and Emir’s Arena bank chest in Al Kharid, all ingredients can be acquired via the Grand Exchange.
Recipe for Disaster: The Feast
The dinner will be served in the dining room once all ingredients have been handed over to the kitchen. To begin the next chapter, the character has to enter the dining area.
Upon entering the said room in the room, players will be at the feet of Lumbridge council. It is comprised of the Lumbridge Guide Evil Dave, Pirate Pete, Osman, Awowogei Generals of the Goblins, Duke Horacio, Sir Amik Varze, Mountain, Skrach Uglogwee, and a late arrival, Gypsy Aris.
Just prior to the arrival of the player, Evil Bob will escort Osman out of the dining room as well as the Duke will be next, carrying a bizarre box. The Culinaromancer will appear because of abundant food at the celebration.
He is believed to get power from food and is planning to take down all of the Lumbridge Council as the initial step on his way to global supremacy.
To everyone’s fortune, Gypsy Aris, who was delayed to the event arrived and then was able to freeze everyone, with the exception for the player.
Recipe for Disaster The Culinaromancer is the only one to be identified.
As per Gypsy Aris who was a threat to the secret council with the death penalty one century ago the Culinaromancer was trapped in another reality by the servant of Duke Horacio.
The hostesses in question was the grandfather of the cook currently who was given the permanent job of cooking food during the celebration.
The cook was able to call the Culinaromancer using the recipe from the past used for this year’s feast.
The player is required to quickly deal with the Culinaromancer in order to prevent Gypsy Aris magical time-bending can alter the reality.
To free the council members from the Culinaromancer’s curse, players must feed them their preferred food item.
After that, the players are teleported to safety by Gypsy Aris. These subquests are able to be completed in any order and each one of them grants one quest point that can be used to unlock the Culinomancer’s Treasure or to earn different rewards.
Recipe for Disaster: Culinaromancer Boss Fight
The Culinaromancer can escape to another dimension leaving behind a portal. The boss is able to use Magic and Melee at 75 Combat level , but there is no defence.
However the Magic attack has a 33% chance of hitting an opponent with a 25-point max hit. Therefore, the lowest levels should be positioned to run away from the boss’s range of attack and take damage from a distance or apply freeze or stun spells.
The Ultimate Ironmen must first kill themselves at the nettles in Edgeville and then collect the food and weapons needed for defeating the Culinaromancer.
After defeating the Culinaromancer The players can leave the boss’s area and return with no loss of progress. Also Prayer spells are not allowed. Prayer spell is restricted for the Culinaromancer boss battle.
The Story of a Recipe for Disaster
A Cook in Lumbridge has a finite amount of cooking ingredients due to the constant stream of people stealing his food items from the kitchen.
Luckily, he used have an assistant willing to help him out to resolve this issue before their relationship deteriorated and now they have to fight again. The most skilled players are able to put an end to this issue one and for all.
The Cook
The cook is cooking for the celebration in Lumbridge. He tells the player about 100 years earlier there was a significant meeting which his ancestor had cooked amazing food. They offered him and all of his descendants’ positions as head cooks in the castle for the rest of their lives. This huge gathering occurs every ten years in order to commemorate their anniversary. So , he’s in need of ingredients again (even that it’s been 90 since).
